Redoubt: Tank Defense is a single-player tank-defence game for iPhone. It plays entirely offline, has no account, and collects nothing.

Common questions

Tilt steering is not working

Redoubt asks for motion permission the first time you use tilt. If you declined it, the on-screen joystick appears automatically and the game is fully playable. To change your mind, go to iOS Settings, find Redoubt, and allow Motion & Fitness. You can also switch control scheme in the game's own Settings, and recalibrate the neutral position there.

I paid but the extra content is still locked

Open the unlock screen and tap Restore Purchases. Ownership is re-checked with the App Store, so this works on any device signed in to the same Apple Account. If it still does not appear, email the address above and mention roughly when you bought it.

Does Reset Progress delete my purchase?

No. Reset Progress clears campaign, career and collection progress only. The unlock is not progress and is deliberately kept.

What is in the free version?

Campaign sectors 1-5, the Minefield mission, The Ash Labyrinth mission, and Today's Tasks - permanently, and replayable. One non-consumable purchase opens sectors 6-10, Daily Siege, Weekly Operation, Last Stand and Veteran Frontline. There are no subscriptions, no consumables, and nothing that affects difficulty.

The Minefield mission will not let me shoot

That is the mission. Your tank has no gun on Minefield - the FIRE button reads NO GUN FITTED and the ammunition selector is hidden. Ten seconds to bury six mines before the wave moves, then one more mine every five seconds.
